The Department of Housing has led recovery efforts for the Sandy-impacted region, receiving $159 million in Community Development Block Grant Disaster Recovery (CDBG-DR) assistance to date. The funding was allocated according to three Tranches describing remaining unmet recovery needs in the impacted towns.
